Yee Fatt Restaurant

If you are around SS15 area, try not to miss this restaurant Yee Fatt which serves good steam chicken, curry fish head and chinese desert.

You can click Google Map to get location whereabout this restaurant.

Once you have entered in this restaurant you will find a smiling lady who welcome you to her restaurant. Indeed this restaurant can be full house during week day lunch. Parking may be a bit difficult. But not to worry... you can always park across the road at the housing area. You need to be cautious as you cross the road due to many vehicles passing through.

Red bean desert is served either cold or hot.

Chicken rice looks lovely. IT is enough to eat for one person. Big as it is, one can be quiet full after eating with chicken.

Hmmm.... yummy...& lovely... The chicken meat is so tender. Once eat and you will want more. I recommend this to you all. It like you are having Ipoh Chicken rice.

This is my favourite veggie. In Chinese it is called "yau-mak". I liked it to be cook plain. The aroma of this veggie can entice you.

Also recommended is curry fish head. The curry smells good and it doesn't taste hot. it comes in the claypot. In it there are veggies and "tau-fo-pok".

DAP For Klang... Klang for Change!!

Malaysia's general election has just over. Recapping the victory of DAP-PKR-PAS over 3 states with PAS 2 states proves that the people wants changes in the existing government. It is still a surprise to me that Selangor is captured by collation.

Looking back past 2 weeks when me and Pauline (since we are staying in Klang), we decide to see what or how we can help in small capacity within our area / constituency. On Saturday afternoon we went to DAP Markas to lend our support for Mr Charles Santiago.

We also decided to put in some small effort to ensure Barisan Rakyat's victory in Klang. We signed up to be polling and counting agent in Klang constituency. As we have prayed for justice, peace and hope for Malaysia, I believe upon every conviction, we must act on them. Thank God to have Pauline together in this perjuangan.

On that day, we join the Barisan Rakyat Convoy spreading the message of hope, peace and justice to all people of Klang. We invite people of different together in one Bangsa Malaysia spirit to vote for change. Vote for DAP-PKR-PAS for change.

Using Pauline's car, we decide to put up Charles who is candidate for MP Klang. We also put up PAS flag, which was generously given by a good Muslim neighbor to us, PKR and of course DAP.

Look at Pauline... filled with Barisan Rakyat spirit to spread these messages across the Klang town.

This is the only time in my life seeing people of different races i.e. Malay, Chinese and Indian united together as one voice, one strength together breaking the stronghold of Barisan Nasional. It is like those days where Barisan Rakyat marches on forward in one unity breaking down the wall of Barisan Nasional. I am glad to see Malay, Chinese and Indian together in one accord.

This 4WD will lead the convoy throughout Klang town. The horn of the 4-WD calleth the people to be ready marching on (convoy) bearing the message of justice, hope and peace. It is important to spread this message as the voice of the people must be heard.

All these while the rakyat (people) cried of injustice, poverty, lack of proper education but these voices is not been voice up. But this time, the collation DAP-PKR-PAS will ensure that their voices will be heard and peace, justice, hope will be restore back to this people.

En Badrul Hisham, DUN Port Klang voice up corruption and promise to free Klang from corruption. Corruption is bad and affected many lives esp the poor people.

Mr Ronnie Liu, DUN Pandamaran greeting rakyat with smile and bringing hope of good economy, education. He also highlighted that the land distribution and size of flat houses are not porportion correctly. The land belongs to rakyat AND NOT to certain individuals.

MP Klang, Mr Charles Santiago invite the people of Klang to get rid of arrogance UMNO system. It is time that to trim the fatten UMNO that rakyat will be all treated fairly and equally. He invited rakyat to accept the change for all.

This is my first time ever attending political ceramah. Speaker like Charles, Ronnie, Theressa Kok and Raja Petra. Many people Indian, Malay especially the Chinese came to hear. In my mind DAP will sure capture Klang and it is proven true on March 8 late evening.

Was at one of the Chinese Temple at Pandamaran. Lots of people gathering, some sitting whilst some standing hearing promises and manifesto brought about by collation of DAP-PAS-PKR. It is strange that Rela came to control traffic. People waving their flags respective to their party which they belong to. People around Klang keeps on coming to hear ceramah from various speakers.

Congratulations to MP Charles Santiago and his ADUN team. The collation of DAP-PKR-PAS in their unity work together bringing hope, peace and justice to rakyat.

Chinese New Year 2008 : Family Makan

Today is the second day of Lunar New Year. My family decided to eat outside since my mom didn't cook much for this celebration. So we went to a restaurant in Klang. Location is Bandar Baru Klang and we headed to Resotran J & J. This restaurant was newly opened some months ago. However the pricing was quietly highly mainly due to celebration of Lunar New Year.

As usual we started off with our traditional dish Yee Sang. Family will tossed this dish together in hope for prosperity, good success wishing everyone good health and joyful always.

Yummy yeah.. yup these 2 days has been adding on lots and lots of calories.

Among best dishes that I observed was this... Ha Ko. This is a type of prawn which fried with egg yoke. Eat it whilst its hot.

Asam fish taste good. However the size of both fishes is rather small of us. The gravy is fantastic. You will called for more rice.

Then you should not missed this. My family loves this. Is a combination of seafood namely sea cucumber, fish skin, chinese mushroom, abalone and veggie.

As family gathers together, besides good food, is the reunion. Though this is not happen only once a year, however, the value in being united in family reflects love and belongging. We need one another. After all, human can live by themselves. Both young and old need somebody. Besides friends, members in the family play a important role in building relationship.

No matter what happens in the past, we must learn to love and forgive. No matter how in fsmily, as a malay proverbs says, "Air yang dicincang, tidak akan terputus".

Its happy to see families meeting together, makan, catching up. Life is short. Let's us appreciate one another.

Harvest for Good Food

This evening, my family and I tried for the first time at New Harvest Restaurant in Klang which was introduced by my parent's friend. Luckily for us there one last table which was available for us. This restaurant was full house.

Located along JALAN GOH HOCK HUAT, which is opposite of Klang Courts Mammoth, this restaurant has 2 floors. They provide a menu which you can browse through and choose food that you want. Price is relatively reasonable.

This is my ever favourite dish. Steam chicken. Yes all the food here are delicious. This restaurant do serve shark's fins soup. And I heard it is good too. But then we didn't order it.

They do serve chicken rice in claypot.

Today is my second last night in KK. We manage to see the Cultural Dance which was played in one of the seafood restaurant, Seri Selera Kg. Air.
While having dinner, the restaurant has a multicultural dance which entertain those who eat here. you can have a look in this youtube.

So... what am i here for? Work and vacation :)

My colleagues and I were here to do some system integration for Jabatan Alam Sekitar, Tentera Laut Darat Malaysia and KTAK.
The above picture is KK's Putrajaya which host government department i.e. Jabatan Alam Sekitar, Jabatan Imigresen, Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara etc. Lots of people come here to get their things done here. Indeed government's service to its customer has improved alot. Thanks to inspiration of our PM to the people of Malaysia.

This is the front gate to TLDM. The security to this place is very tight. An officer will check every car that goes in and out from this place.

The bell will be ring by an officer to tell time for break, lunch, etc.

This is the emblem for our Navy Malaysia. In this emblem there is Islamic symbols which has the word Allah and Muhammad.

Inside TLDM, there is this shop that sells good ikan bakar (grilled fish). And it only cost like RM 2 - 4 depending on the size of that ikan and the catch for that day. This guy is good... He can bakar (grilled) fish very well. I ate it for 3 days here. And I missed his ikan bakar.

So that is what we do here in KK. Work and eat...of course sleeping as well.

Seafood Porridge at Luyang, KK

There is this famous seafood porridge at Luyang which is 15 minutes drive from KK city. From the city, take the road that leads to Jalan Lintas. You will pass this town called Luyang. Here you can find lots of chinese food shop here. KK folks like to eat meat as you can see they sell duck, pork and chicken meat everywhere. Tonight we just want to try out something different.

This yummy porridge is served is a wok. In this porridge, there are fish, prawns & century egg . Yummy. This will cost you RM9.

And Wah Tan Ho Seafood Noodle can cost you RM9.50. Big prawns...

And nearby, there is a herbal shop that sells good dessert and snack. Price is reasonably ok.

Me back in Kota Kinabalu again! #1

This is my 2nd time going to Kota Kinabalu and will be staying there for a week before proceeding to Labuan. My previous trip was a short one back in August. This time I have one week to roam around this city. Well am here for job with my other 4 colleagues.

We have put up in King Park Hotel. This is a new hotel equipped with free internet access. As you can see, I am using this free internet access to blog my entries.

If you wanna see night scene of the city, you can drive up to Bukit Bendera. Yes Bukit Bendera at Kota Kinabalu to have a good view of night scene and sunset of the city. I see couples are there at night.

Now talking about food, there is a food court at Tanjung Aru which is located along the beach. They serve many halal food which is operated by many races. No halal logo but certainly halal it is.

Many type of food from Indonesian, Chinese, Malay etc are available here. The price are reasonable here as compared to the city. Well in the city food are quiet costly compare to KL.

As you walk along in this food court you will notice that there is sayap madu "Chicken Wing Honey) is popular food sold here. I am sure its good as I have not try it yet.

have been trying this healthy food in the morning. if you are thinking of dieting, why not consider change your diet for your breakfast with this good cereals product. i bought if for RM13 plus in Giant Hypermarket. it comes with muti grains, hazelnuts and raisins.

you can take this soy water or with low fat milk. i can tell you it gives you extra energy compare to our current way of having breakfast with noodles, nasi lemak or roti canai. our bodies need the necessary vitamins and minerals for energy. our bodies need these energy for our daily work.

it may takes yuk the first time you take it. but as for me, i like it. and of course need to control our temptation on nasi lemak etc. well to start it of, you can take this on every alternate days. then move on to eating nasi lemak etc on weekends.

If you like to take scenary photos, then this is a good chance for you to do so. Meditating on God's lovely creation makes you wanna appreciate and humble yourself. The air, nature and its surrounding declare His glory and greatness.

Temples of Jogja

Temples were ruinned due to earthquake which happened in the recent years. However it is still stood up remaining its historical place. Good place to visit but need to pay.

The following clip is my friend's mom's brithday. On the day we arrived at Surabaya, it the same day his mom celebrated her birthday. It was so good to have fellowship with his parents. I know him past 8 years whilst he was still studying here.

crystal clear bah kut teh

Have you ever tasted bak kut teh with its soup crystal clear. Then you should try to come to Subang, SS 18. This shop located opposite to Subang Police Station. This place is one of my favourite bah kut teh which Mong Ern and I always used to come. Chao Zhou Bak Kut Teh is the shop name.

Soup is quite clear compared to bah kut teh that we normally eat. Its soup is so clear with some herbs in it. This makes so tasty. This shop which was opened by a couple from Segamat, Johor. Helped by his workers, they serve this delicious bak kut teh which you must try one day. The friendly smile and service will definitely warm your hearts.

One of my favourite dish at this place is "loh che yoke". Fine piece of meat with fat layer with it, cooked with brownish sauce will melt your mouth. hmmm yummy....

Pork intestine is served with soup in it. Delicious yeah. I guess the owner is kind as you can see there are many layers in this intestine. Making it meaty to eat plus its soup too.

Caution: As you eat these food, which is good, it is always good to if we can control our eating. Cause this is not a healthy food. Good food is always not healthy. Make sure you do exercise to burn out fat and calories after eating it yeah.

SJK(C) Sang Lee celebration 2007

The Sang Lee School @ Raub was having celebration as the school closed for the year. Those children from kindergardens joined in this celebrations as they will be awarded for completing their early educations. Among are students from standard One to standard Six. Not only that, Orang Asli children too among those who make this celebrations a memorable one.

CDPC members were invited as their special guest on that night. The Principal of the school invited us to join in this celebration. We were so happy. Mong Ern, James and myself went to Raub leaving KL at 5p.m. Thank God we reached on time, just before celebration started.

CDPC came into picture when we extended our help to their community. We have Moon Cake Celebration for 2 years. And recently we send our medical team to give free medicine and advise to the Sang Lee folks. And we do hang out with folks in Sang Lee. Through years of firendship, they have treated us as part of Sang Lee's family.

That night event was graciously opened by the principal himself, thanking everyone making their effort attending this night event. The community of this village both young and old came to see witness this celebration. Though it was raining, yet the celebration still carry on.

The principal has many reasons to be happy. The percentage of students who passed UPSR has raised from 20% from previous years to 70 over percent. Wow... huge improvements. Kudos to all teachers of Sang Lee school in making this great achievements. Desire of these teachers is to see their students to excel in their life.

The event then continue with prize award to students in their academic & sport achievements. Parents were so proud of their children and share the excitement together with their children. Our friend here, Mr Tay, a.k.a Datok Tay was invited to give away awards to children.

The night is followed with children performance. Children prepared well before and they have performed their best. Many enjoyed with their presentations. Many cheered and applauded for their singging, dancing etc. OA kids did their presentation too. Together with other students, they performed their very best. They have been practising for their talent time. There is one chinese boy who can sing so well. His vocal voice is superb. Like in opera performance, he can sing solo.

OA kids glorify God on that night by dancing along with Indonesian and English Christian Songs. Indeed they have relay the message of gospel through songs and dance.

Children expressed their gratitude and appreciation to their respective teachers. It is a heart warming and many teachers were touched by their sincerity.

In conjunction with my birthday, my friend and I have a good dinner at a restaurant at USJ 4. We ate curry fish head. The restaurant is located in the middle of a shop houses at USJ 4. The cost for meal is reasonable.

Delicious curry fish head. The curry is so delicious added with veggies and tau foo pok.

This restaurant serves fried crispy pork belly german. It costs only RM15. This pork belly has a small layer of fat which makes pork good to eat. It is so crispy. Plus the sauce is yummy too.

If you come here pls don't miss out the sizzling pot bean curd with eggs. It comes with slices of chinese mushroom which makes smell good.

The past 31 years ...

Aha, today I am celebrating as I enter my 32 year old. Am happy that today too is a Deepavali (Diwali) day which I am celebrating my birthday on a public holiday. My mom cooked special meal for me since on the eve of my birthday (pork's leg vinegar) which is my favourite dish. Then today, my parents, my grandma and I went out for lunch and ordered red wine chicken. Then later in dinner, my mom cooked sambal prawn and bought a roast duck. Had good meals these 2 days and well tomorrow I got to work out to burn out these extra calories in my body.

As I ponder my past 31 years, which I did the past years, I thanked God for His grace in bringging me through up and down in my life. I thank Him for protection over me, He has provided me jobs and also that I can travel to 2 countries this year for my holidays. There are many to thank Him yet there so few that I can remember. I thank Him for friends that He has given me. He has been a good and faithful friend by protecting me from doing wrong things though there are time I made a lot.

Through good and bitter moments, yet He is still there. I learn though life in this world is full of challenges, I still have Him who will walk through with me. Not to say problems will go away. We will still be inflicted with problems till we die, yet I can find comfort and joy in Him.

As usual my mom and my grandma has been asking me when I'm getting married and have I found girl friend yet. My grandma expressed her desire in her heart that she would be able to see her grand daughter in law before she died. Well, Lord please see through my grandma's request, yeah. Indeed it's my desire to look for one but somehow, no girl is so special in my eye yet. Hopefully this year I put in my effort to look for a girl friend.

Last 3 months ago, my the other grandma passed away. I missed her so much until today. I can see some flashback of moments I have with her. I cried sometimes when I think of her. Life is so short. She has impacted the life of her grand children. And she has thought me loving people means sacrificing yourself for him/her.

And now... as I enter into my 32 years with excitement. Many things to learn and to achieve. I would like to thank Him for giving me and allowing me to breath until today. I thank my parents for their love, care and their support through my childhood, teenage and even until now. I thank my friends for being friend with me.

Day 5 : Yogyakarta Trip (Borobudur)

As I walked up the stairs of Borobudur, I remember my trip early this year to Angkor Wat. The magnificient design i.e. rock crafting and how they place showed that mankind is given the art of creativity. It reflects the Creator Himself who designed and fasioned this world. And in this, man is given the ability to design and fashion. This reflect the image of Creator.

Erected in the late 8th or early 9th century, presumably by the kings of central Java, this Buddhist monument was probably abandoned within not much more than a century after construction when the power-base moved to east Java.

As you walk around this candi, there are stories inscriped within walls concerning the life of the founder of Buddhism. Siddartha was in search for the truth after years of seperation from real world. He was determined to search answer concerning life and suffering.

As for me, this candi isn't comparable to Angkor Wat. However, this candi has stood as a squat pyramid-shaped stupa remains a tourist attraction around the world.

Day 3 : Yogyakarta (Mt. Bromo)

Today, we went up to Gunung Penanjakkan as the view point to view Mt Bromo, Mt Semeru. We went up there as early as 4am to catch a good view of sunrise.

We stayed as this guest house which cost us Rp150,000 for 2 rooms. It was so cold up there. We didn't take our shower.

My first time backpacking

Am backpacking for my first time. 3 of us are going to Yogyakarta today. I have just finish packing up my stuffs. Yes I am excited and also nervous of backpacking in foreign countries. My two friends were used to backpack and travel alone to other countries.

As this is my first time, I am hoping to enjoy myself then.

Today, my friend, Suben and I bought ourselves a new toy, Canon Powershot A570IS. We went to Key Color Shop which is located at 2nd Floor at MidValley. We bought this camera at the proce of RM899. Thought we can buy it cheaper since we bought 2 units. But then, well...

I came to this shop last 2 years ago also with this my friend of mine. We bought for ourselves then a Nikkon camera.

One of many reasons why I bought this unit cause it uses AA batteries. You can get it easily everywhere. And of course AA batteries are always cheap if any replacement. Furthermore you can check out for this unit review.

Another reason why I bought this unit cause I managed to sell of other 2 units which amount up RM650. Why wanna keep those old camera right?

Tribute to my Po Po (Grand mother)

Today at 12:24a.m. my beloved po po has been called home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ. She lives until age 88. It is a sudden news that she had passed on yet I believe the Lord loves her so much and life and death is in His hand.

"From Him we came, unto Him we will return"

My parents and I rushed to hospital so that we can see her. On our arrival, she had passed away. I saw her lifeless body lying on the bed surrounded with my aunties and cousins. Wasn't easy for me as I held her forehead and kissed her. I whispered to myself, "Let us meet together again in New Jerusalem. Let us meet again". I thanked God for my po po. In my mind I reflected those time when we use to be together, how she has care for me and she used say to her grandchildren, "I love you". I remember those time, she will travel from Sungai Besi by bus to Shah Alam, bringging us food to eat. She doesn't mind if those things are heavy. She wants to see us happy. Every time she see us while we were young, she would be so happy. Her smilling face welcomes and warm our hearts.

Yet God is so good to us that He hears our prayer. Though she has yet to receive Jesus as her Saviour, in many events she has the chance to hear gospel. Even important is that she received love and care from Christian friends and relatives. The Christian communal surrounds her with love and care has shown to her that God still loves her inspite of how she feels. In her time of grieve and pain, she called Jesus to save her. She sings hymns and song of praise when her heart was troubled. Those songs ease her. Jesus indeed with her and minister to her.

While on my way to hospital, I was praying hard that she can be revived. I pray that God would heal her. Yet God loves her and want her to be with Him forever.

Now po po is no longer with us. She has moved on. She has left a legacy to me personally as a model of a loving, forgiving and someone who would sacrifice for her love ones. Though people may not treat her fairly yet she still loves them. She is a person who have grace to give and give and give and yet not to receive.

Po po, thank you for your love to me. I'm going to miss you. I missed when you called me Ah-boy. Now no one will call me this.

I will show this photo of us together to my children (if any). Too bad I can't show you my girlfriend cause I don't have any yet. I believe you are praying and asking the Lord directly from Him one for me. Thank you so much.

Madam Wan Kim Siam (1919 - 2007)

Welcome to Kuching again...to me. This is my 2nd time. My last visit was 3 years ago. As you can see there lots of meow-meow. A beautiful city. Place where one should go around and visit. Famous with seafood products e.g. salted fish, prawns and fish. Purpose to visit there is for project closure meeting with among my colleagues in Sarawak. Good to be able to meet them again and can have good time together.

My colleague and I were invited to Mr Yee Kai Fatt's house. We reached Kuching Airport at around 9p.m. When we arrived his house around 10 p.m. There his wife prepare for us a special dinner to welcome us. We were so hungry then. Mrs Yee is preparing soup.

This is special rice (don't know its name).

Pork Rib. Mr Yee said that he can prepare even better ones. Anyway it taste good too. Pineapple next to it is so sweet.

Steam fish together with red dates, sliced mushrooms.

Steam Prawn with wine. I think this is the best prawn. It so fresh. Mr Yee just bought those prawns this afternoon.

There is a famous Sarawak Laksa operated nearby Grand Continental Hotel. It only opens in the morning. You can walk out from hotel and can see this restaurant by its name :

It's a different taste than the one you taste in Semenanjung. In the morning, place was packed with people.

Then we headed to our Sarawak's Regional Office in Kuching. There we had our farewell and share together our thoughts and plans. We had our good time together.

Am my way to Kota Kinabalu

This is my very first time going to Kota Kinabalu. Taking a shutter bus behind Subang Parade which costs only RM9 is worth it instead of taking a cab all the way to LCCT - KLIA. Boarded the bus at 7a.m. reached LCCT by 7.40a.m. So fast... yeahla on Sunday morning mah. Am going there for work purpose and not for holiday. Hmmm... anyway still can at least step on the land of KK. Was suppose to go last Friday but then due to certain circumstances my flight was delayed to Sunday.

I was amazed with the improvement by Air Asia using web based for check in IF you are on hand carry luggage ONLY. What you need to do is to use that system, a friendly user interface system, keying your Ref No and of course check on those terms and conditions and that it, you check in ticket will be printed out. So convenient and fast. Am very proud of it. Just that now I am hoping there is no flight delay or whatsoever.

Now here am I, waiting for another 2 more hours before boarding. It looks empty now. Thank God here it is WiFi enabled. Thus can surf internet. Yeahhoo.

My trip to Kuala Terengganu

In next few days I'll be travelling to Melaka, Johor, Kuala Terengganu, Kota Bahru, Rantau Panjang, Grik, Taiping, Sungai Petani, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Kuantan. It's a working trip as our project has come its closure which have run for three years. The project BPPT is dedicated to train our school teachers in using ICT in their teaching. This project has been an eye opening to most teachers who have yet using computer and Microsoft product as a alternative and efficient way in delivering their student. My project employed more than 200 staffs which spanned across nationwide. In those years I have met and made friends with many of them including elderly teachers and younger ones.

After 3 years has passed, now the project has some to its conclusion. A team of 6 travelling across nation to conclude the project and to say thank you to our staff for their dedication and hard work in making sure this project a successful one.

On my way to Kuala Terenggany, we stopped by at Kemaman to taste its delicious famous stuffed crab meat. The name of this restaurant is called "Restaurant Tong Juan". It was packed there that we hardly find a place to seat.

As you can see this restaurant was packed with people. There are few Malay Muslims came here to taste this delicious food. Something that I don't see it in KL.

Hmm yummy... look good yeah.

On our way to Kuala Terengganu, we pass through the Petronas Petroleum plant. It is a huge area where you can see all the petroleum plants are. Malaysia is greatly blessed with its natural resources. First time there... jakunlah me

Now there are famous food in Kuala Terengganu, Nasi Dagang, which is located nearby Primula Hotel. The name of this stall is Kedai Kopi Terengganu Kita.

Nasi Dagang is prepared using nasi pulut, fish and veggie. As you can see from the photo below, calories contained is high and yet taste good.

And not forgetting keropok. Yummy yeah :)

Later in the night, met up with my colleagues who were based in Kuala Terengganu. So good to be able to see them and chat. Not forgetting makan2 too. Hiya M'sian can never run away from makan. We headed to Pantai Kelulut for our dinner.

My colleagues told me that Sotong Goreng is famous here. In addition to it, it is sotong season. Thus sotong is so fresh when eat it. Indeed it is so savoury taste and fresh.

The important is while we eat, we had good fellowship, catching up and we chat lots and lots of things that happen in each life. Was a blessed time getting to know them more.

Melaka : Hainanese Chicken Rice ball

If you would happen to pass by Melaka, make sure you don't miss out famous Chicken Rice Ball. You can find chicken rice ball everywhere which located over the bridge where the famous Dutch red looking chuch (Christ Church). I have choose this restaurant to have a taste on "famous" chicken rice ball here.
If you can read Chinese character... this is the name. Maybe some one can leave a comment on the name of this restaurant. Its a nice building with a archtecture of a how Baba-Nyonya house looks like.

This is the chicken. Its meat is nicely tendered and soft. Once eaten you would wanna try more.

Yes this is chicken rice ball. FYI its catered for 2 eaters. don't think that I can eat all of it yeah...

My first time using cable car in Genting Higlands

My colleagues and I were asked to meet a group of lecturer in First World at Genting Highlands today to help up in setting up a system within their local area network. We have decided to use a cable car to ease our journey up the highland. Honestly we scared to drive our way up there. Well, no issue since need to pay RM 10 for both ways up and down. Okiela... no need to worry but then can enjoy our jungle and forest.

These are my two colleagues, Illa and Wawa. These 2 ladies looks cool in the cable car... but in their heart bear triple up.

As we are on the cable car, it seems to stop for a while and at times it jerks too. 2 ladies freaked out especially when looking down. One can enjoy the green nature as you are passing above and through the jungles. One can magnify God the Creator of this great universe.

As you are approaching to the heights of Genting Highlands, you can hardly see as it is covered by mist. You can feel coolness as if you you are in overseas. I believe one can appreciate the coolness in Genting Highlands.

Kluang Station @ Ikano

Today, myself, Leon, Alicia and Christian were having dinner with our long time friend. We used to chat and fool around and talking about theology. I missed those time that we spent together and now I have chance to eat with him at this place located in Ikano, KL, Kluang Station.

This is Steven. This is his sceond time for me seeing him bringging his girl friend to KL. As for me, still single. Manalah jodohku ni ya... Remember those time when we are still single. Oh ya Steven is in his 20s whilst i am in my 30s. Glad to see him having some one whom he loves. Steven is good in poem. He wrote many poems dedicating his love to God and His glory. I am sure that he has many romantic poem drafted for his girlfriend.

BPPT did it again

Now BPPT did it again. The car park basement of FSBM Building is smelled with durian. My colleague, Fahmie brought some kampung durians all the way from Banting. Mr K (not Datok K) showing his skills by opening durian. He did it so that we can eat those durians.

Amboi.... Cik Nani, duduk aje makan durian. Mai tolonglah buka.

KC Wong, durian king who is expert in all kinds of durian. Every time durian seasons, he will sure miss no durian.

Hmmm... well this is our BPPT staffs taking enjoying durian. Believe me... the whole car park is smelled with durians.

CG Retreat at Cameron Highlands

My cg had its intresting and memorable retreat in Cameron n 29th June 2007. I drove up there with my 11 years old Kancil. Thank God it made it. Using the new highway @ Simpang Pulai, I enjoyed the cool air. Too bad no photos taken. As I get higher up to mountain, as the air getting cooler, I was thinking that I am in Melbourne (choice of mine 2nd home).

My first half marathon

Recalling my first half marathon ever in my life was a good experience in my life. Never have thought of joining it till my cg mate, Bro Kok Wai who has been so good encouraging me to join for the run. We have been training along with Sue Mei, Chee Siong and Jason. We did our training at Bukit Jelutong, TTDI and around Bukit Gasing. Enjoying with their fellowship, I get to understand more of them.

Intrestingly i can get to know their friends. They are nice people. Funny and very encouraging to see them joining in the run. I can see their strong inner spirit who want to finish the run.

Feeling so excited, I prayed and also having negative attitude that wanna pull out before run. But thank God for encouragement through my cg mates (Kok Wai, Sue May, Chee Siong and Jason).

Hahaha...as you see my number, some might laugh. During the run, some guy calling me "hey 69" giving his smiling face to me. I just couldn't be bothered. I was breathless that time.

As I run though Penang Bridge and completed it, Penang Bridge would never be same again. I, David Ting has run and walk through the bridge to and fro. Yeahhhooo!!!!

As I run through 9km, I started want to "pang sai". Ohhh gossshh... before the run, I have been trying to pass motion but cannot. Of all time.... now!!! I just prayed that I would not make a mess on my short. If I did, the whole bridge would have the smell. Alas i found toilet at the end 10km. I cepat-cepat cari toilet and waited for a while for my turn. So I did my business for 15 minutes before continuing my run.

Running 22.3 km is no big joke to me. I realised my endurance is very low. I could run well for the first 50 minutes, but later, pancit sudah. My legs, muscles everywhere paining. Couldn't run that much at 11 km.

Anyway I finished my 22.3 km though I have exceeded the qualifying time. Could have done better next time. Would like to run again. Knowing that I am not the last cause there are lots of young people behind me. So happy about it.

Well I couldn't bend my knee and my butt is like kena whacked liao. So painful. That night i can hardly sleep. The pain gone the next day.

This medal goes to everyone who challenge themselves and run through the race. Their are people who can complete within less than 2 hours and there are within the qualifying time or even less than that. There people who exceeded qualifying time. No matter how, these people have completed the race!

Thanks Kok Wai, Sue Mei, Chee Siong and Jason for your encouragement and advise given during training.

For 5 years, 1998 - 2003, I have been working in this building. Many good memories which my department team (OA90) in public accounting firm, Andersen worked together. I love the architecture of this building.

This block of the building was once Arthur Andersen office. Now it is taken over by Starbucks as we moved over to our new building which is across the road, Menara Milenium.
